Animal Race
Add names, pick what's at stake and let the animals run. The finishing order is your answer.
How to play
- 1Add 2 to 10 names. Each player gets a random animal at the start line.
- 2Choose whether last place loses, the winner takes it, or you only need the order. Add what's at stake if you like.
- 3Tap Start, watch the race and share the result. Your friends see the exact same race, not just the final list.
What can happen in a race
- Turbo 💨: an animal suddenly bursts forward for a second.
- Trip 💫: an animal stumbles and loses a moment.
- Nap 💤: an animal that gets too far ahead may lie down for a quick nap, like the hare in the old fable.
- Catch-up: animals at the back run a little faster, so most races stay close until the finish.
Questions
Is the race fixed in any way?
No. Every animal follows the same rules and the outcome comes from your browser's secure random number generator. We ran thousands of simulated races to check that every lane wins and loses equally often.
Why does my friend's link show the same race?
The link carries the names, the setting and the race's random seed. Opening it replays the identical race, so nobody can claim the result was made up.
Do you save the names?
Names stay on your device so the list is ready next time. Nothing is sent to us. The only time names leave your device is in a link you choose to share.
